Greetings, everybody! I am Samantha Rose Miller (23) and was born and raised in a small town in Wisconsin. Yes...I am a cheese head. I began art at a young age and quickly fell in love. All throughout school, I was taking extra art classes, creating new and exciting art projects, and giving lessons to those younger than myself. Art is influenced by all life has to offer, you just have to look for it.
Growing up in Wisconsin, one can only imagine the vast array of sights and smells of the Upper-Midwest, what with all of the farming and natural wildlife present. My hometown, however, was also perfumed with the smell of beer and anxiety! Yes, a college town. Every year my town would become populated with diversity and the hopes of bright futures. Along with these new people came new inspirations for my art!
As I got older, I moved to Minnesota and began a new chapter in my life, but the artist inside has never left. I current work cleaning residential properties and live with my boyfriend, our pup (Phoebe), and 2 cats (Buck & Lucy). Animals have always played a role throughout my life, thus leading to the plethora of animals you will find here. With all I have experienced in life, I try to emulate beauty and whimsy on a canvas, drawing in the viewer to feel a sense of glee and childlike happiness.
